King County - Sound Generations - Hyde shuttle, volunteer transportation
Our free transportation services provide rides to community meal programs, senior centers, and rides to medical appointments. Additionally, neighborhood vans are provided for errands such as grocery shopping, banking, or visiting friends. We understand the impact that access to affordable transportation options has for older adults or persons with limited mobility. We enable individuals to maintain their independence and quality of life.
King County - Snoqualmie Valley Transportation
Since 2003, Snoqualmie Valley Transportation has been your local bus company. We provide door-to-door and fixed route service in the Snoqualmie Valley. Our services are available to the general public, Monday – Friday (except holidays) from 5:30 AM to 9:30 PM.
By using our services, people can get to medical care, the grocery store, jobs, and their favorite activities and entertainment.
We connect people with places. This helps people stay socially active, helps employers, helps local businesses, helps the environment and helps our community.
We are a dedicated group of people who work for the Mt. Si Senior Center with a passion for making sure that people get where they want to go in an easy, friendly and inexpensive way.
King County - Eastside Friends of Seniors
As Americans continue to live longer, Eastside Friends of Seniors (EFS) is dedicated to a senior’s independence and preference to age at home. Our team of trained volunteers and professionals provide vital assistance to seniors, allowing them to live a dignified and vibrant life for as long as possible in the place they feel most comfortable. We are here to:
• Run Errands
• Provide transportation to medical appointments
• Shop for groceries and put things away
• Do light housekeeping
• Schedule regular visits by telephone or in person
• Do light yard work
• Provide transportation to visit with a family member in an adult family home or nursing facility
• Provide information and referral to additional resources

NEST is a 501(c)(3) non-profit grassroots community in Northeast Seattle, founded in 2009. By providing a strong support network through volunteers and trusted business referrals, older residents can stay in the homes of their choosing and stay engaged in the neighborhoods they love, for as long as possible. NEST serves the neighborhoods north of the Montlake Ship Canal, south of NE Northgate Way & NE 110th Street, west of Lake Washington, and east of Interstate-5. NEST is based on the national “virtual village model.” Currently, there are over 300 virtual villages actively serving across the United States and many more in the works.
Lifetime Learning Center (LLC)
LLC is a north Seattle nonprofit that provides a wide range of stimulating and interesting classes for older adults. Their team of experienced instructors volunteer their time to offer low-cost classes on subjects ranging from history, current events, writing and music to literature, art, science and crafts, both in person and online.

Arts Engagement for Adults Living with Dementia
Eldergrow offers residents a therapeutic connection to nature through innovative gardening products and services.
After opening our doors in February, 2022 as part of the Memory Hub and returning to extended hours this past summer, Elderwise is now excited to add an extra day. Our adult day program is now open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am until 2pm.
